Leicestershire Mediation 

Leicester City Council supports the Leicestershire Mediation Service, which provides services which are particularly relevant in LRPT's work with offenders.

Restorative Justice

Involves helping to tackle some of the issues, which are not addressed by the legal system. Victims of crime have the opportunity to express their feelings in a sympathetic environment and provide offenders with the opportunity to appreciate and take responsibility for the consequences of their actions.

Neighbourhood Renewal

This programme builds on the restorative justice principles and extends them to a broader base of issues within the community. Importantly, it also sets out to develop the necessary skills within the wider community to enable individuals to manage conflict more effectively.
