DRUG AND ALCOHOL ACTION TEAM

The local Drug and Alcohol Action Team (DAAT) is a multi-agency partnership working to implement the National Drug Strategy. The main Leicestershire DAAT comprises of senior staff from agencies involved in tackling drug and alcohol related issues.

These include: Probation, Police, HM Prison Service, Local Authorities, including Education and Social Services, and NHS Primary Care Trusts.

The local DAAT is a strategic body that develops and implements the local drug strategy.
