APEX

The Leicester-based charity APEX provides free advice, guidance, training and employment support to enable people from a wide variety of backgrounds into jobs.

Every year APEX works with more than 3,000 people from across Leicestershire to improve their chances of finding employment. Their offices are based at Apex House, 74-76 Charles Street, Leicester.LE1 1FB.

The charity can help with:

• Information, advice and guidance
• Training and education
• Advice on how to disclose convictions
• CVs
• Job search
• Contacting employers
• Support in becoming self-employed
• Finding loans or grants for courses/training
• Free accredited courses (such as IT, health/safety, food hygiene, skills for life.)
• Benefits advice.
