ALCOHOL TREATMENT WORKERS

CRIMINAL JUSTICE DRUG TEAM

Starting salary £21,179 for 37 hours pw

You may already work in the field of alcohol or drug treatment, or may be able to demonstrate similar skills and have experience of working within the Criminal Justice.

Your role will involve working with alcohol misusing clients who are in statutory contact with the Probation Service subject to Alcohol Treatment Requirements. You may also work with clients who are being released from prison with or without probation supervision. The role will include the assessment and management of clinical interventions in respect of substance misuse issues.

You will be part of the Criminal Justice Drug Team of the Leicestershire and Rutland Probation Trust, working alongside other Treatment Workers. The primary focus of the team is drug misuse and you may also be involved in treatment with drug misusing clients. The Criminal Justice Drugs Team is a multi-agency team and a key part of your role will involve working with other agencies including the Police, Prison and other treatment providers. You will also work closely with Probation Officers where the client is subject to statutory supervision.
